Agree with Mnyb. :) My only experience with Energy is the Take 5.1 setup, never heard the Micros. I'm also a big Yamaha fan (avr and motorcycles :)) but I only recommended the posted Yamaha and Denon as examples of decent budget gear below the $200 mark. Do shop, research, compare.
The important thing is that posted $600 system above will out perform the Bose 2.1 and give you FAR more flexibility in the future.
