Spent all day doing factory resets, installing stock kernels and the EDO applet, but nothing seemed to be working. I got to the point that EDO wouldn't even install successfully. Finally, I resorted to installing LMS 7.8. To my disappointment, when I tried to update the SBT firmware, all that was offered was version 7.7.2. Oh well, installed it anyway, then installed EDO applet, updated kernel, chose the INVICTA and now it was working!
Don't know what caused it to work, but I'm as happy as can be.
