You need to provide more information if anyone is to help you. What exactly is your server and player configuration? You're running LMS on your new laptop and getting buffering where? On the same PC via SqueezePlay, on another PC via SqueezePlay, on a Squeezebox? Where is your music library and how is it attached to the machine running LMS? Is the server PC wired to the router or connected via wireless? What about the players: wired or wireless? What kind of files are you serving (FLAC)? Let's start there.
