I know the two hop wireless is potentially more problematic - but I have to keep coming back to fact that everything works like a clock with my old Dell laptop. So something has got to be different with this HP computer, settings, or just Windows 8. Maybe something is competing for the ports?
Anyway I got this computer through an award program at work. I've already started process of returning. I've checked every power and performance option I can find and it still pauses. Maybe I'll try another HP with Windows 7.
