Now i get it I’m somewhat dense in some situations .

In my case i have selected the same screensaver (screen off ) for off
and stopped so i never see the difference :)

experiment :

Network and player active all the time .

Set stopped saver to transparent clock .

Set off saver to black clock .

Turn the player off .

Remove power .

Restore power .

PLAYER RESUMES AT THE STOPPED SCREENSAVER !

This behaviour is easy to reproduce we could make a bug report off it .

I have to try another thing , turn off the server to to see what happens
the clock and other savers may use server information "screen off" is
just that it should not require any contact with the server (except the
bug that it eventually turns on the backligth )
