Conecting to mysqueezebox.com should work the same a server is a server . However with the added possibility of network problems on the way and wrong time zone settings on mysqueezebox.com .
The logic for squeezeboxes is that they always conect to the last server they previously was conected to . And they also send WOL to the latest local server ( you can have several ). If one wants a more complex behaviour we The server power controll plugin by Gordon Harris, you install that in LMS . It can do things like sending players to mysqueezebox.com on shutdown and fetching them back when it's running again . Have a look at that plugin . But it probably also assumes powered squeezeboxes , it deals with shutting down the server .
