On the other bug that it power up in stopped state when it was in off state there already is a bug for it since 2011

Register and vote as they say (where i live we are registred since birth On again mysqueezebo.com and screensavers worked fine . Note my router was on all the time as it should be. You can possibly probably provoke a clock-less situation by for example not having any connection to mysqueezebox.com when the player boots .
