Not likely. Should be identical unless the Bryston itself has better coax vs toslink inputs (unlikely!). In some cases there can be electrical interference with coax that is not there with galvaniclly isolated toslink connection. p.s. the TT 3.0 (which I assume you are using to kill all the options) do a good job of making the Touch harder to use with little or no impact on sound quality.
