I unchecked some plugins on the Touch. Specifically the ones that were for different models (Digital Inputs, Line In, Line Out, Slim Tris), the UPnP/DLNA Media Interface, and the iTunes integration. The display on the B&K now identifies the files as 96kHz, but still no sound. Taking a cue from MnyB, I will try going through all the modes in the B&K while playing a 96kHz file.
