I already have downgraded the SBT firmware to version 7.7.3. by the
offered option in the "Settings/Advanced/Software Update" menu. And this
version is 77x so can deal with EDO. This version is also connecting and
playing with the SBS Version: 7.5.5 - r32671 I am running.
So all is working and EDO is installed.

I have 1 observation that might indicate this version mix is not
entirely free of issues. The 192 kHz tracks I am playing are playing OK
, BUT the Now playing info is informing that the correspinding high VBR
(something like 5000 kbps) is converted to 705 kbps FLAC (always 705 ,
which is exactly half of fixed redbook 16*44.1 kHz).
When running wireless the rebuffering suggests to me the actual bitrate
playing these 192 kHz files is higher then redbook, which almost never
rebuffers. The conversion indication might not be accurate and this
might stem from misalligned versions of SBS server vs Touch.

Any experiences like this?
