You are loosing me, "IP for the speakers", "SSH in with Putty", "try 'alsamixer'"? This is a new (secondhand) Touch I've just acquired and I've noted the firmware is v.7.7.3-r16676 whereas my other Touch has firmware v.7.8.0-r16754 so I'm going to try updating later this morning. I did try the MM-1's with my orginal Touch and thought I had it working so fingers crossed the frimware update may help. Thanks again for the input.
