Dave On the LMS Web gui Settings>Information there is a list of connected players. Each player has its own IP address. Using this address with Putty one can access the software. Alsamixer is a command line prompt that may allow you to increase the set volume of the device. Thinking about it now, of course you may need a user and password to get in to the device, so wht not conntact B&W and ask them about the volume? A quick google -*'jamesbondsboss' (https://discussions.apple.com/people/jamesbondsboss)* Mar 1, 2014 4:41 AM --Last week I purchased a pair of Bowers and Wilkins mm1's and connected them to my 2008 imac '24' and at full volume they almost blew the windows out. Sadly my imac '24' gave some unrelated problems and I had to replace it with the latest imac '21.5'. I connected my mm1's to the new imac and the the level of volume at maximum seems to be about half of what it was when connected to the old imac. I have made sure that 'mm1' is selected in the sound settings, and I know for sure that the sound is definately comming from the mm1's when I select it. Unless a remedy to this problem is found pdq the mm1's will be listed on ebay.- - iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2), bower and wilkins mm1 - so you are not alone. atb Ronnie ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94512 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
