So I did. The install worked, and using the USB connection reduced, but did not eliminate, the problem. Instead of losing a second or two of music, I was losing a fraction of a second - say, the attack on the first note - and only when I went from redbook to hi rez, not the other way around. But it still irritated me. After some reflection, I uninstalled EDO, as for the near term, my best workaround is to keep both analog and digital outputs active. (Note - is that now possible with EDO? The original post said no, but, it appeared to be an option.) That way, for focused listening to a hi rez recording, I can switch and simply restart the first track. For playlists (which for me means background listening) I'll continue to use the Touch's analog outputs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ john greenwood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41039 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94512 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
