When I first got my Touch, I tried two different USB powered harddrives, sometimes they'd work ok, but sometimes they seemed to be working (LED flashing) but with a very faint clicking sound, this is lack of power from the Touch's USB port for sure. Otherwise as you say, they'd work fine connected to a PC. I gave up trying to use the Touch as a server, bad experience - *not worth the effort*. kidstypike LMS on Raspberry Pi 2 model B/max2play/HiFiBerry DAC+ > AVI DM5 1 x SB3 - 1 x Boom - 1 x (Squeezebox) Radio - 2 x Touch - 2 x Raspberry Pi/max2play/HiFiBerry ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kidstypike's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10436 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105167 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
