It hasn't been covered here, so I thought I would comment and apologies if you know this bit.
With NetGear products LMS is actually on the NAS. To update LMS you need to go to NetGear > RAIDar to access the RAIDar app on your PC. If you have the default login, the username is admin, and the PW is netgear1. Then choose setup, and it will open up Frontview in your browser. Form there go to Add Ons, and you will see what you have installed. "Add new" will allow you to update.
