Thanks again. I will check out the Roon forum. What I can't understand is why I actually need Roon - according to posts on the Meridian forum. My understanding is that as long as the MQA file is output bit perfect to the Explorer2 DAC it should MQA. Yet; if I plug the SBT into the Explorer2 DAC; I get no output even from standard resolution tracks. I also don't understand the anomaly about the time counters not working (see earlier post) when the USB output is selected on the SBT to output to Explorer2 DAC.
