re 1: - let LMS start automatically when the PC starts up - let the PC fall into sleep mode when it's not used, there's a plugin (to be activated on the LMS settings page) that prevents this as long as a player is on - enable wake-on-lan (WOL) on the PC (you can get more details how to configure this if you wish) - when a player is switched on, it sends a WOL packet to wake up the PC
