1) Yes, you can continue using the apps. In fact they connect with LMS and LMS tells the player what to do.
2) You mean running LMS on the RasPi and pointing it to the music files on your PC? This makes no sense, IMO. The purpose of the RasPi would be to replace the PC for listening to your music. Otherwise you could keep the PC and don't need the RasPi. 3) See d6jg's answer just before. 4) You need to type in the ip address and port of LMS in the browser on your tablet, e.g. http://192.168.1.10:9000.
