Glad I found this thread. My Touch stopped responding to IR input a year or so ago. I assumed it was a dead IR receiver but thought I'd give a new power supply a try after reading this thread. Just hooked it up to a new IFI iPower and it worked like a charm. I admit I had my doubts but I'm very happy to have remote control back. Hope this helps someone else with this issue.
