I forgot this is a transmitter - so will have higher power requirements
than a receiver.

ssh into your Touch (make sure ssh is enabled by Setting/Advanced/Remtre
Logging)

Depending on your OS - simple ssh may not work and you may need to use
something like

Code:
--------------------

  ssh -oKexAlgorithms=+diffie-hellman-group1-sha1 [email protected]

--------------------

Once at Touh "#" prompt - foillowing willgive message.
dmesg
tail /var/log/messages

Try dmesg with BT "off" and then try dmesg after BT "on".

Also look if different to dmesg after plugging BT device in

Code:
--------------------
The gui interface shows the Touch as playing with timer counting - on the
actual Touch screen the now playing screen shows the stream but there's no time
count (and no sound)
--------------------

Timer count is done local to UI so usually does really mean anything
except possibly waiting for LMS to do somehting.

I don't assume anything.
