As far as I am aware, ripping to FLAC and WAV produces the same quality. The difference is in the resultant file size. FLAC is lossless but compressed so produces smaller files than WAV. In addition to file size, FLAC is more versatile for tagging. MP3tag is great for making changes to tags after a disc has been ripped. I use it heavily to tidy up tags. It allows for consistency across tracks (and albums too). Composers are searchable in LMS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Shozzer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58726 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109528 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
