Do you have the crimp tool and connector to make an RJ-45 loopback plug? Attached are a couple of pinouts. I think for 10/100, all you'd need is the second one, and you might be able to get by with just cutting one end off of a spare cat5 cable and making the connections as shown, preferably with a bit of solder and heat shrink but whatever works!
That should at least bring the port up permanently so that the touch thinks it has a link. Of course, it won't be able to communicate with anything so if it just needs to sense a link than it might work, but if it's looking for a response from something than it might not help at all. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: loopback-connector.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=26888| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sodface's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19057 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110255 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
