I believe the lack of internet connection has nothing to do with your problems. I take it that you're using the Touch's internal "Tiny SBS" server, which is not very stable. I personally used two Touches with Tiny SBS and I had issues very similar to yours. When I switched to a PC _with_NO_internet_connection_ and installed LMS, my problems went away. My setup was very simple. I used a crossover cable directly from the Touch to the PC.
