In general, the shape of the universe is a sphere, centred on the Universe's 
position with diameter of the universe's size. The coordinates form a 3d 
rectalinear grid that the universe sphere marks the boundary of.

In games that don't use the z coordinate (always 0), the universe is a circle, 
filled with square tiles (one for each coordinate).
