Actually, we can all learn something! The example I gave would have
worked from a non-T2... e.g. a KPC-3 or KPC-3+ as well as from a T2.
However, seeing as how you are using a T2, your "send" would of
course also work.

You must have had MON ON to get the <Digi Echo> but strangely, no ACK.
You definitely heard it coming back from the digi, as indicated both by
the <Digi Echo> and the "From <callsign>" and the message itself, but
you apparently didn't hear the ACK coming back from the digi. I'm still
assuming your T2 is sending the ACK, but you aren't seeing any evidence
of it.
I went on to look at KD5HTZ-9 at aprs.fi but there was no record of it.
However there was a KD5HTZ-1 using a T2. It seems to be using a 3
hop path of WIDE2-1,WIDE2-2 instead of the recommended WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1.
I then sent a test messages to it but didn't get an ACK but it likely
wasn't running as it hadn't been heard for about 11 hours.
I couldn't see any recent ACKs sent by KD5HTZ-1, but I could see two
messages sent to K5MTS.
Unfortunately, I couldn't see any evidence of it having sent any recent
ACKs. Is there a nearby station that could listen on RF?
