Let me say I am grateful for your input. Yes, I was referring to the GTRANS cable for the Kenwood, I followed the instructions, and so far nothing seems to be happening, but before I start jumping up and down, and holding my breath, I need to know what to expect out of this setup. 1. What should I see on the Nuvi? Will it show Dispatch on the Menu, I see nothing now, as in no aprs activity, I do see a error message in the upper right corner stating a device connected to the Nuvi is not functioning. (note) I had it connected briefly to my Alinco T2-135 Set up to test the Nuvi. it went into dispatch right away, does not return to normal, even when doing a reset on the back.
2. will I be able to test it like I can do with my Alinco and t...@-135, by typing --Version. 3. If I should by some miracle, get it working, will I be able to send and receive messages with the Nuvi? Thanks I should mention I can send and receive messages from and to the Kenwood, using Kenwood, to send. and the T2-135 to send. --- In [email protected], "Erich J.
