Obviously , you had all the answers, but I did not know it. first of all,
most of this aprs stuff doesn't have a manual that says if you have this,
it won't work, but if you have this, it will, or if you have this type of
radio you can do this, every situation is different., and most of the
information is sparse and scattered all over the place. I just wished I
would have had more information. It's hard to ask questions, if one does not
know what the questions are. but on the other hand, no big deal, Thank you
Very Much.

A little reading before spending money is a good investment.

  Nope, that's not it...

Not going to do that with the Nuvi and a Kenwood.

Hmm, mine does... I hit the MSG button, and start typing on the
microphone. I wonder if we can get Kenwood to do T9en text guessing
  like the cellphones.

Well, that's the joy in buying a bunch of stuff without knowing what
it does. There's an awful lot of information available that details
what each of the toys that Scott sells will do for you. There's also a
reflector or two that are available for asking questions. Scott is
really good a supporting his customers as well. All you need to do, is
read, and if you still don't understand, ask questions on the
  reflector.

I could see about buying an Alinco DR-135, a T2-135, and then trading
you straight across for the TM-D710 and GTRANS cable...

What do you say? Deal or No Deal?
