According to the Nuvi350 manual, it supports the GPX file format. The manual mentions Mapsource and has a list of instructions. It is found under "Managing Files on your Nuvi". The operation will be similar for using EasyGPS. EasyGPS should save the file with a GPX extension, such as WX_XMITS.GPX (that is my list of weather transmitters across the USA). I would probably connect the GPS and download the waypoints first into EasyGPS. From there, edit one and add one. Then send them back to the GPS. Check results with Windows Explorer. If the file was not stuffed to the SD card, try moving it. Another thought, I would suspect that if the write protect switch was set and the waypoints will still erased, then the waypoints were not on the SD card. Verification is needed since some claim the card is protected and others say no. EasyGPS should have a option to "Send Waypoints to GPS". It may be labeled something similar. I don't have a Nuvi yet so I don't know how EasyGPS works when there is an SD card, whether it gives an option or not. If it doesn't become obvious, you might ask on the forum. I'd be happy to get a Nuvi donation for testing. ;) I actually use ExpertGPS myself which is an extension of the basic functions that includes mapping. I record my tracks for my various trips taken in my kayak or while tripping for personal journal purposes. It makes for a great way to document and share trips. Best regards, Fred

Maybe now that the Garmin POILoader has created the folder on the SD card that the Nuvi 'sees' it would work simply to move new POIs from EasyGPS to that folder on the SD card. I didn't try it last night as I had had enough - I dislike fiddling with computers as it is. It certainly is worth trying as it would remove a step that is a bit of a pain. I can try it over the weekend as I'm going somewhere tomorrow that I'd like to save as a new POI. I'm not opposed to writing this up more clearly and adding it to the Wiki. This is too useful a feature / work-around not to be available for all.
