It is if you want FMI mode / APRS send and receive messaging from the 
GPS / reprogram the T2 from the GPS / waypoint output that works 
properly. The Nuvi 350 is only available used or as a refurb these days. 
They seem to be going for $110 if you can find one, so if you need one 
and you can find one, grab it. If you don't need it right now, wait and 
see what is available in a few months. Hopefully the Nuvi 1200/1300/1400 
series that Scott just mentioned will pan out.
