I agree that managing and navigating projects could be much better. I'm still using 1.043 so some features in the trunk may not be available to me, but the items I'd like to see updated:
1. A way to reorder the project list alphabetically. Segmented by status is a good first step, but with 60 or 70 open project, the drag to reorder is a pain. (see item 6 below for a related concern) 2. Moving the add new project form up next to the project list rather than at the bottom - as it is with next actions. 3. Only active projects should appear in the autocomplete box. 4. The ability to reactivate closed or completed projects. 5. I know there's considerable discussion about tagging next actions. Highlighting projects with next actions with upcoming or past due actions, or actions that match a certain tag would be useful. In other words, a way to see "hot" projects in the list at a glance. 6. One additional optional field for client/theme/subject to further classify projects. Now the project title has to do both for sorting and scanning purposes which can lead to some inconsistencies.
