We just reorganized the menus which moves a lot of things into menus. I'd like to see your suggestions for this new layout! > Ideas for discussion: > Calendar icon next to the date I put this in a submenu > Reoccurring task icon in the next action window > Nice idea. I think we need to better integrate recurring (or as Luis suggested: repeating todos) with the new-todo form > The line below the main menu in this case would be user defined > searches: Hot items, @context or tags. (saved searches would be nifty > here - scope creep bad) This allows one to keep all of the issues > related to say Tom or @work one click away. FWIW I use the key words to > keep track of issues related to people and delegated items. So when Tom > calls I could, in one click, review my issues list with him. > I'm not fond of this idea. The contexts are in the right column, so they are one click away. I'm using tags the same way and finding a specific tag quickly is rather difficult. We could use something to make it more easy, but I'm not sure about this bookmark-bar (btw I do use plain old bookmarks for it currently) > I feel the search field would be great in the main header if > technically possible. > Often discussed :-) > To free up menu space the admin and preferences could be collapsed into > one screen as they should not be used that frequently. > See the new layout with sub menus > As I said these are just food for thought - I certainly do not want to > upset anyone or rehash old issues. > All ideas are welcome!
