Barbara,
While I was preparing my response, I noticed others have sent responses
regarding the transmission to the dollars associated with the 835
transaction. There are many models in the 835 Implementation Guide that
define how the actual payment can be sent to the provider. Reference page
13, section 2.1.2.1 of the 835 Implementation Guide which shows the 835
being sent electronically and the check being mailed.
