Thank you all for the explanations of the X12 version numbering system... something I was a little fuzzy about anyway! TG2/WG2 is well aware of the vision industry's interest in using this loop. As soon as we get our homework done on the data elements we want to put there, we'll reopen the discussion in WG2. At any rate, it sounds like the 2440 loop will be around for a little while.
