OK. so i downloaded the latest from cvs head ... i installed ffmpeg too. now when i run the command autoreconf -i -f I get the following erros.
aclocal: configure.in: 18: macro `AM_PROG_CC_C_O' not found in library aclocal: configure.in: 24: macro `AM_PROG_AS' not found in library autoreconf: aclocal failed with exit status: 1 In the change log it seems this is not required but seems configure.ini is not correct. not sure but may be I am wrong. Don't worry, just testing on `exotic' hardware is already valuable. A good start could be grab a recent CVS snapshot, build it on your core2, perform the aclib tests (see on testsuite/) and post here results. aclib is a core component of transcode and is built by default, so no special configure options are required.
