The most recent one introduced a community glossary they're building:

Looks very interesting! I registered there (hope I won't be spammed
too, but then again, I receive so much spam anyway I probably won't
notice the difference).

I like the import function; if you already have lists of words ready
one could probably import them fairly simply.
You can do this with any bot on a wiki - like now on any wiktionary: the pywikipediabot a bot written in python does this.

And no: you should not be spammed - I have been a member of ProZ for years and receive messages only every now and then (asking me to complete my profile, informing about new features etc.).

It sounds good, but I'm concerned that it's not going to be freely
licensed, however much they want free-software translators to input
effort.

My language team has been working on a freely-available glossary at
Wiktionary. I'd really rather see the effort go there.

Yeah, agreed. I don't see enough licencing info on the site (maybe I
just missed it?) to make these things clear. Wiktionary is more than
good enough for these kind of things IMHO and also more widely used
and accepted at the moment.
Whatever is uploaded now to the database follows the following conditions:

This is from the faq:
"Wikiwords is intended as a free and open resource for anyone,
anywhere. We plan to post licensing terms before the end of the beta period, and
will appreciate any input that will assist us either in formulating those terms, or
in selecting an existing copyright arrangement. In the meantime, all contributors
should assume that by posting, they assign all rights to use the posted content to
ProZ.com and Wikiwords."
