Hallo Olaf

Great to hear about your use of Pootle in education. It has been one of
the main things we (Translate.org.za) have also been using Pootle for.

What you describe does sound a bit strange. The most useful thing would
be to find out what was happening when the processor usage went up to
100%. The most useful thing might be to see the line in the log right
after this. Was all project statistics already calculated and Pootle
working fine before this issue occurred?

What type of projects do you have loaded? How many files / words are we
talking about?

Pootle 1.2 can eventually use quite a lot of memory if there are lots of
files involved, but I guess that you are dealing with only a few files
if it is not using more memory yet.

Lots of work has already gone into Pootle 1.3, and we intend to still
focus quite a bit on performance. The next version's behaviour will be
quite different, so things might behave quite differently in future
anyway.

Keep well
Friedel
