Yes. Although the more detailed statistics (including quality checks)
could also take a while to calculate the first time, and they might not
necessarily have been done yet unless somebody already clicked on "view
editing functions".

Ok, this sounds like something we have routinely managed, so this
shouldn't be a problem.
