Cynthia,
     Your correct. You need an Austel approved report and statement of 
     compliance for the product. The Austel report is a reformatted CB 
     Scheme report based on IEC950. This is also true of your Emissions and 
     Telco reports.
     Also, it must reside in-country and the permit is issued to a local 
     presence.

TS001 is the Australia standards entitled
     
 "Safety Requirements for Customer Equipment"
     
AS3260 is the Australian standards entitled
     
 "Safety of Information Technology Equipment 
 Including Electrical Business Equipment"
     
The New Zealand safety standard is NZS 661/PTC 101
     
My experience is that Australia will require that your safety
report be AS3260 and that they will not accept a EN60950.  New Zealand 
on the other hand has accepted EN60950 reports.

I want to know if I'm correct with this information. 
-The Australian IEC 950 based standard is AS3260. 
-The New Zealand IEC 950 based standard is TS001.
