As far as Part 15, you may or may not be liable. Reiterating Ron by saying I know nothing of the equipment or the changes and having been in this situation many times, it never ceases to amaze me how many times this will come up in a company. So some things I would generally ask or consider: 1. Is your Part 15 approval Class A, or Class B? In other words, what is the impact of the change with what has been registered with the FCC? 2. Famous one - how far under the limit are you? "When in doubt, test it out." It'll make engineering seriously consider changes next time.
