I am the compliance engineer for a design and manufacturer of ITE type equipment. Our products are intended to be installed in an industrial environment, running factory floor robotics and transfer lines. We currently list our product with UL to UL-508 Safety For Industrial Control Equipment and CSA C22.2 #14 Product Safety For Industrial Control Equipment. It is my understanding, that in order to place the CE Mark on our products, after 1/1/97, I must have my products evaluated against EN60950, and any other standards that are listed in the OJ that apply! Is there anyway I can satisfy the requirements of the LVD, and place the CE mark, without submitting my products to UL or a NRTL, for evaluation against EN60950. Can I use the UL test reports and listing as evidence for meeting the basic requirements of the LVD. Someone please respond and give me some guidence on these issues! Ideally, I would like to do something other than resubmitting all of products for testing and reevaluation. Help!
