I wrote an article called "ADSL Products Must Conform and
Perform" for the February 1997 issue of Test & Measurement
World. The article isn't on line, but I can send it by fax or
snail-mail. Just let me know.

Dear Treggers,

Stephen Phillips asks:
"Any info. or sources of info. for worldwide PTT
requirements, and any info. on this technology
itself, for - ADSL, SDSL, etc., would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks. "

A useful article also appeared in EDN magazine of October
10, 1996, called:
"The End of the Wait for Home Internet". This described the
various technologies. You can find EDN magazine at
www.ednmag.com and can probably
download the article. The article will help understand the
different DSL technologies and the merits and drawbacks of
each, and includes a comparison of the two contending
ADSL methods: CAP and DMT.
