Pam,

You'd have to become a good deal more specific to get that question
answered.

You'll have to determine what Directives the equipment falls under. If
only Low
Voltage and EMC, than a properly backed-up CE marking will do. If the
equipment
is subject to the TTE Directive you'll have to determine whether there is a
CTR for that equipment. If there is, CE Marking for Europe is appropriate,
if there isn't
you'll have to go country by country.

This is a very simplified answer, to give you a flavor of the thing and in
no way
intended as a full and complete answer. You wouldn't believe the
complexities
people in the EU have invented.

I believe that it would be unreasonable on the part of your organization to
expect
someone brandnew to find his/her way through this maze. May I suggest that
you consider engaging the services of an independent approvals expert or
simply go to one of the many competent test organizations to steer you
through this one.

Ciao,

Vic

NB: I am not an engineer and not competent, but if you want me to suggest
some
people I'll be glad to help. VB
