PQAA stands for "Production Quality Assurance Approval", which is identical
to the title of Annex 3 of the TTE Directive.  The BABT PQAA process has
been offered, since 1991,  as a means of complying with both Pan European
(TTE Directive) and UK National approvals.  In the context of the latter,
acoustic shock protection has been addressed within the Production QA
requirements.
