I agree with you, you are responsible for the product - its design
and manufacturing (albiet thru a contract manufacturer) - so you will
develop your technical file (have your contract manufacturer provide you
with a copy of the Euro certification report - including the test data) and
issue your own Manufacturer's Declaration of Conformity; the manufacturing
plant will apply the CE marking at your direction...
