James, the EFTA countries accept CTR21 in so far as You can put CE - marked devices (CE nnnn x) on the market without further notification. I am sure about Norway, Iceland, Switzerland. For Eastern Europe currently it is much more complicated. There is no general market access for CE marked products or even national approval against CTR21. However, You may be successful approving a CTR21 certified device after negotiation in some East European countries (some of them do not have an approval regime and/or requirements established). It may depend on Your negotiation skills and patience. Robert Robert Pausch, Environmental and Regulatory Compliance Compaq Computer EMEA bv, Munich Tel: +49-89-9392-2352 FAX: +49-89-9392-2336
