We've been through these things a few times....

The group's membership decides what topics are talked about by talking
about them. Since the majority of group members are Palm treo users,
that's what we tend to talk about.

And there are plenty of other more generic Windows Mobile groups where
the Windows Mobile treos are discussed.

If you have a treo w, and want to talk about it, go ahead - if people
are interested, they'll respond!

As for device specific groups (600 vs. 650 vs. 680). That's been tried
in the past as well (there was a short-lived treo 600 group a while back
which was started after the 650 came out).

But since the treos are, in general, compatible with each other (at
least the palm ones), most people seem to prefer to see all the models
discussed. These "splinter" groups have not, in my experience, gained
critical mass to be worth my reading and subscribing to. Not that
there's anything wrong with it... :-)
