Oh, you got me there.

But as a power user, I'm always intrigued by new technology, and find
recreational value in finding the "real" strengths and weaknesses of it
(beyond the superficial or obvious stuff in most reviews). The fact
that the sales girl in T-Mobile thinks the Pearl is cool is moderately
interesting; the fact that my friend the local business owner leaves his
laptop at home now when he travels (all the time) is compelling beyond
that.

Having been a Palm user since the Pilot 1000, I appreciate all the good
things about Palm, and the 755p is finally a very physically solid,
appealing device beyond the flimsy, plastically things Treos have been
before. The fact that RIM can put essentially the same type of device
in such a small, sleek, solid package (with Bluetooth 2.0) is
intriguing. The mini-trackball is intriguing as a navigation device
(multispeed is VERY userful). T-Mobile is also moving in some
intriguing directions, too, with the Fave 5, the T-Mobile @ Home. All
moves that reduce their revenue from cellular minutes. It's an
interesting thing to watch the US cellular carriers. All with
strengths; all with weaknesses. Nobody totally dominant in any given
area.

It's all fun!!

Cheers,
Don
