I was thinking there was something to do with the cache, or maybe
Resco's locker. Problem is, I've never really understood exactly what
they did, or why, which makes it more difficult to remember why they were.
Anyway, re the creator ID part - CleanUp claims there are a lot of
files can be left behind becuause the parent software had used a
different ID. Maybe installing Uninstaller first would take care of that
problem. I ran Cleanup and went down its list and found several files I
knew were from software no longer on the Treo.
The trouble with having to manually recognize and delete stuff,
though, is back to the part about I fear I don't know enough to a)
delete unnecessary stuff, and b) know what to put back when it turns out
I was wrong.
