You've also got to keep in mind the entries that an app puts into the Saved
and/or Unsaved Preferences file.  Merely manually deleting files will leave
those preferences behind; using the native Delete menu (or a launcher like
Launcher X) - or, I assume, a utitlity like Cleanup - to delete the app will
also clear out its preferences...at least those preferences with the same
Creator ID as the appl file.
