I almost hate to ask because, at least in part, the question has been
on here someplace, but I'm not certain what to search for. That
apology given, sort of :-)
I've been plaqued recently by lots of hangs and resets on my 680.
I expect I've just installed/uninstalled/updated too much software,
and I intend tonight, while not otherwise gainfully employed, to
"spring clean."
I have seen on here a person or two say they were doing that, and
would install a protective program, of which I do not remember the
name nor understand the purpose, BEFORE installing normal software -
in my case, Datebk, TakePhone, a couple of plug-ins, probably
minitones, Butler, ZLauncher, Uninstall & Cleanup, Docs2Go, pEdit &
Tools, and Mundu IM are the most important. (I list these, BTW, in
case someone has experienced conflict among or between any of the titles.)
What is the program, and more importantly, why do I want it
installed before anything else?
